Veterans Writing Project Alum Debuts Powerful Documentary at TCL Chinese Theatre

This weekend, a Veterans Writing Project alumnus makes his Hollywood debut at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre with a documentary that confronts medicine, politics, and long-suppressed truth.

Sixteen years in the making, this compelling documentary explores groundbreaking medical discoveries — and the resistance they faced. In 1989, Dr. Paul Harch discovered that hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) could repair traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Despite mounting evidence, these findings were met with institutional opposition that continues to impact veterans today.
