Autism Pediatric Patient treated with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy – July 1996
Paul Harch, MD was one of the first physician in North America to treat a cerebral palsy child with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and could very well have been the first to also treat an autistic child. This news story from New Orleans ABC Channel 26 documents Dr. Harch’s patient who was treated in 1996. The pediatric patient medically improves from no eye contact and no walking–to walking and engaging and appropriate communication skills.
Dr Harch is a wonderful and thorough MD. His patients are so grateful for his devotion to clean medicine. He is in New Orleans where approx. 80% of his patients fly in from out of town to be treated at the Family Physician’s Center with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Charitable airline organizations sometimes fly his pediatric patients here and The Ronald McDonald House – charitable housing is also available for the children. Autism is an epidemic that has been minimized but Dr Harch takes this seriously and treats it seriously.
